เพิ่ม Keyboard Layout ใน XFCE

• การเพิ่ม keyboard layout ใน xfce
• ในที่นี้ขอแยกเป็น 2 วิธี

Method 1

• เปิดไฟล์ /etc/X11/xorg.conf ด้วย text editor ที่เราชอบ(อย่าลืมกันเหนียวก่อนแก้ไขด้วย)

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

• จากนั้นเพิ่ม Section "Input Device" เข้าไป

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "us,th"
EndSection

• บันทึกไฟล์ให้เรียบร้อย
• จากนั้น reboot สักรอบ การเปลี่ยนภาษาบน linux เราใช้ alt+shift เหมือนเดิม
• วิธีนี้จะเป็นบทความที่เคยเขียนไว้นานแล้ว

Method 2

• ติดตั้ง plugin เพิ่มเติม

sudo apt-get install xfce4-xkb-plugin

• จากนั้นให้เราคลิกขวาที่ panel และเลือก Add New Items...

• คลิกเลือกที่ Keyboard Layouts และ Add
• จากนั้นจะมี Popup ให้เราคอนฟิก Layout ดังภาพประกอบ

• เรียบร้อยทุกอย่างจะมีรูปธงของ Layout ขึ้นเหมือนใน KDE แล้วแหละ
• แต่เราสามารถเลือกว่าจะแสดงเป็น Image หรือ Text ง่ายๆ ดังภาพประกอบที่ 2 ตรง Show layout as:
