Send mail from GMail to Hotmail

• ที่นี้เรื่องมีอยู่ว่า พยายามจะส่ง email ให้พี่เค้า
• สิ่งที่ส่งไปด้วยคือ ไฟล์ขนาดประมาณ 18 MB ไปถึง mail องค์กรหนึ่ง , hotmail และ gmail สรุป ส่งไป mail ปลายทาง 3 server ว่างั้น
• ที่นี้เราก็ใช้ Gmail เราอ่ะนะส่ง
• ได้รับ message ตอบกลับ จาก mailer-daemon@xxx2.xxx.go.th (mail server องค์กรหนึ่ง) ว่า

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at xxx2.xxxx.go.th.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

• อันนี้พอเข้าใจว่า mail องค์กรมันคงเต็มชัวร์ เพราะส่วนมากที่ทำงานก็ ให้เราไม่กี่ MB อ่ะนะ
• แต่งงอย่างแรง
• มี Message จาก postmaster ของ hotmail (mail ปลายทาง) กับมาประมาณว่า

Action: failed
Status: 5.2.2
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;552 5.2.2 This message is larger than the current system limit or the recipient's mailbox is full. Create a shorter message body or remove attachments and try sending it again.

• อ่านดูแล้วมันก็คงจะบอกว่า ข้อมูลที่ส่งมา มันใหญ่เกิน
• หรือไม่ก็ mailbox เต็มเฟ้ย
  
• ไอ้ที่ว่าเต็มเนี๋ย คงเต็มยากเพราะมันให้เป็น GB เลยนะเฟ้ย
  
• ตูใช้มา 4 ปีมันยังไม่เห็นจะเต็มเลย
• เราว่าสาเหตุน่าจะมาจาก file ที่แนบไปขนาดใหญ่เกินนะคิดว่า mail server ปลายทางมันจำกัดขนาด มันเลยรับไม่ได้

สรุป

• เราส่งไฟล์ เกิน 10 MB จาก Gmail ถึง Hotmail(Free) ไม่ได้
• ทั้งๆ ที่ 10 MB ที่ว่ามันน่าจะเป็นการจำกัดแค่การส่งอ่ะนะ
• ส่วน Gmail ถึง mail server องค์กร ไม่ได้อันนี้พอเข้าใจว่า เต็มแน่ๆ
• แต่คิดว่า 10 MB Gmail to Yahoo(Free) ไม่น่ามีปัญหา

เพิ่มเติม maximum size of file for attach

• ของ hotmail ถ้าฟรีเข้าให้เราแค่ไม่เกิน 10 MB แต่ถ้าเสียตังค์เค้าให้เรา 20 MB นะ

• ของ yahoo free เค้าให้เรา attach ได้ 25 MB เลยนะ

• GMail free อันนี้ให้เท่า yahoo เลยล่ะ 25 MB
