SS Management Studio & The error code is 29506

"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 29506."

ปัญหา

• คือ พยายามติดตั้ง SQL Server Management Studio Express บน Windows 7 64 bit
• ตอนแรกเอา 32 bit ติดตั้งไม่ผ่าน เพราะเค้าแสดงข้อความว่า
• "unsupported operating system"
• ก็เลยไปโหลด เวอร์ชั่น 64 bit แต่ทำไมตอนติดตั้งขึ้น The installer ... error code is 29506 ซะงั้น

แก้ปัญหา

• ตามแหล่งอ้างอิงเค้าแนะนำให้ปิด UAC ก่อนอ่ะ
• หรือ อีกคำแนะนำคือเปิด cmd โดย Run as administrator แล้วเปิดไฟล์ SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64.msi ผ่าน cmd นั่นแหละ
• แค่นี้ก็ติดตั้งได้ไม่ขึ้น error ด้านบนแหละ
